Gummomo
Waterhole is on the Diamintina Developmental Road north west of
Quilpie adjacent to
Thylungra Station. It was this permanent
water supply that decided the Duracks to establish their station there. It is the site of a rest atop with a
picnic shelter and is popular with self contained RVs as an over night stop. A prominent information board tells the story.
