Millstream- Chichester National Park in the heart of the
Pilbara protects almost 216,000 ha of escarpement & tablelands, dry river valley and a wetland oasis. Standard park entry fees apply for
Millstream Chichester National Park.
Two designated campgrounds, Star Gazers and Miliyanha. Generators allowed in Milyanha
Campground only. Camping fees apply. Bookings are essential and can be made up to 180 days (approximately six months) before arrival and for one
campsite only.
There are
well maintained public camping facilities in WA’s
Millstream-Chichester National Park, including bush
toilets, gas barbeques and wood for campfires. Permits and maps can be purchased from
Karratha and Roebourne Visitor Centres, or from the
Visitor Information Centre within the park.
Getting to
Millstream-Chichester National Park - 120km SE of Karatha
Access to the park is via a sealed road. The turnoff is just 15 minutes from
Karratha, or if you are travelling on the Roebourne/Wittenoom Road, the turnoff is 28 kilometres south east of Roebourne.
