Bascombe
Well Conservation Park is accessible to 4WD
explorers but is not
well used and as at April 2018 was reported to be quite overgrown in
places. Here you can discover many
ruins and excellent wildflower displays between June and August. The site of the Bascombe
Well Homestead Ruin has been designated as a
campsite but there are absolutely no facilities.
One shed has been restored to allow collection of water run-off from the roof to fill into 2 tanks for fire fighting purposes.
The park is dry weather access only, via Murdinga or Warrachie off the Tod Hwy.
