Broadwater Conservation Park is 6km north of Baffle Creek and accessible via boat or four-wheel-drive vehicle only. Broadwater is on the coast between Baffle Creek and Deepwater National Park. NO TRAILERS or motor-homes etc are permitted. Broadwater Conservation Park is a quiet haven with
Mitchell Creek at the northern end of Rules Beach only accessible at low tide - camping is no longer permitted here, only at the southern end of Rules Beach. This small diverse coastal remnant contains casuarina woodland on the foredunes, mangrove-lined creeks, and mixed eucalypt open forest with paperbark woodland further inland.
This is a quiet area to go birdwatching or fishing. If you swim, beware of marine stingers between October and May.
