The Territory Wildlife Park is a must see attraction when in the
Darwin region. It has a "flight deck" where you can get up close to the birds of prey of the NT. The wildlife park contains different types of habitat, all enclosed in the one area. You have billabongs, a sand bar, wetlands, monsoon forest walk, paper bark walk, and woodland wildlife. The park also contains a nocturnal house, a giant walk-through aviary, an aquarium, cafe and gift
shop. Plan on spending the whole day with the whole family.
After spending the day at the wildlife park, it's only a very short drive to the
Berry Springs Nature Park.
The springs are crystal clear, warm waters, and are safe and relaxing place to swim. A small tuck
shop sells drinks and ice creams.
Toilets and shower blocks are available on site.
The Territory Wildlife Park is a 45 minute drive south of
Darwin to Berry Springs. The Park is about 12km along Cox Peninsula Road on your right. It is
well sign posted all the way and is immediately next door to the
Berry Springs Nature Park.
