An area of steep slopes and valleys, old-growth forests and rainforests that links
New England National Park and
Dorrigo National Park, forming one of the largest wildlife refuges in NSW.
Much of the park is very steep with limited access, but keen walkers and birdwatchers can explore the trackless forests.
Griffiths Lookout, above the northern edge of the park, gives marvellous
views of the coast and the Great Escarpment.
Access 10 km south-east of
Dorrigo. There's no vehicle access within the park. Walk in from the Waterfall Way, or from roads alongside the
Bellinger River,
