One of the state's few inland river parks, Warrabah provides an important native refuge in a largely cleared area. Ridges and isolated
granite boulders line a scenic section of the Namoi River before it meets the Western Plains.
Pools and rapids are excellent for swimming, fishing and canoeing, and there are good opportunities for bushwalking. There's plenty of room for campers and day visitors.
Access 80 km north of
Tamworth, 35 km north¬east of
Manilla on the unsealed Namoi River Road.
