Boonah via the Mt
Alford Road or 11km south of Lake Moogerah. Mount Moon is surrounded by private property and access must be arranged with the respective landholders.

views over the Fassifern Valley, is suitable for wheelchairs with assistance.
There is limited camping available within Moogerah Peaks National Park, with Mount French section providing the only
campground. This
campground is not suitable for caravans. Camping permits are required and fees apply. As the
campground is small, advance bookings are necessary. The number of camping permits issued for any time is limited to protect the park from environmental degradation.
Frog Buttress is the only camping ground available on this park
To secure your site you need to book three to four weeks in advance, particularly during the winter months and holidays. Bookings are made on a first-in-first-served basis. The campsites are not numbered, so you need to ensure you arrive early on the day you have nominated on your booking to get the better campsites.
