The
Gordon Inlet Rd (gravel with some corrugations) eventually forms into a beach track running along the Gardiner river leading to the where the river enters the ocean and to Tooregullup Beach. The track can get closed in toward the end (scratching?). The end of the track comes up quick to a turning circle where you can
camp. However, there are several tracks running off the circle over some low lying sand dunes that will lead you down to
Gordon inlet. These tracks can be very sandy and depending on the height of the tide and the angles on the dunes coming back, they can be difficult to get through if you haven't let your tyres down.
There's a
fisherman's hut on the south side of the Gorden inlet about a 100 metres from where you come out to the inlet.
We have been here where you can drive all the way to the ocean and also when you can't (after a heavy winter), very scenic, great picnic and camping.
