The roadhouse is owned and run by the people of
Tjuntjuntjara. It is situated at
the junction of the
Anne Beadell Highway and the Business Road running from
Tjuntjuntjara to communities in the north.

Sunday and out of hours: Go to the house and they will be happy to open up outside normal trading hours.

A
camping area is opposite the roadhouse and a fee of $20.00 per vehicle applies. Hot showers (donkey) are $5.00 per shower if not camping. There is a covered outside barbeque area with stainless steel benches. The
camp is run by the roadhouse and is clean and stocked with firewood. The roadhouse supplies a studio, groceries, bread, meat, cold drinks and some camping and automotive supplies. Local paintings and artworks and Ilkurlka Spinifex clothing are available for purchase. Wifi and public phone are available.
Nestled on top of a
sand dune in the
Great Victoria Desert Ilkurlka offer a secluded and tranquil accommodation area in a studio which has been architecturally designed to harmonise with the surrounding environment.
The studio is fully self-contained and features a kitchen, fold-out sofa, aircon, verandah, donkey-type outdoor shower and an eco-friendly outside
toilet. It has magnificent
views especially at sunset. Studio bookings are essential.
