Koorarawalyee Station, which was one of the original wayside stations of the Eastern Goldfields Railway between
Southern Cross and
Coolgardie, constructed by the Wilkie Brothers. The line was started on 25 June 1895 and completed on 23 March 1896, passing through Yellowdine, Koorarawalyee, Boorabbin, Woolgangie and Bulla Bulling. The line reached Koorarawalyee on 16 September 1895 making it the head of the line where tracks were opened for conveyance and the work
camp and equipment were sited until the next [water] tank was reached.
