The suburb of Two Rocks takes its name from two prominent rocks offshore from Wreck Point. It was approved as a suburb name in 1975. The suburb contains a marina development and the majority of the
population live along the coast either side of the marina, although new housing developments have seen an urban sprawl in semi-rural blocks further east along Breakwater Drive right up to Wanneroo Road.
