Named by Frank Hann on 28 May 1903 after Mr. E.C. Millar, a member of the syndicate that financed his 1903 expedition. This low breakaway type range is punctuated by
sandstone headlands and bluffs. There are a variety of features within the range including
London Bridge Cave and Hanns
Rockhole. Millar Lakes (claypan lakes) are situated a few short kilometres to the east.
