Information

Ashbourne is a locality in Victoria, located on Falloons Road southwest of Woodend at the foot of the Macedon Ranges. In 1994 grazing was the main rural industry, with 4900 meat cattle and 15,000 sheep and lambs. Today the Ashbourne area consists mostly of tree-changers' refuges and lifestyle farmlets.

At the 2016 census, Ashbourne and the surrounding area had a population of 196.
