London Bridge, was once a large double
rock arch, formed by the action of waves. This amazing
rock feature was named after the famous
bridge in England because of the similarities with its double arches.
The name was changed to London Arch after the first arch collapsed in 1990, leaving a couple of tourists stranded. The couple, who were lucky to be on the second arch at the time, had to be rescued by a helicopter. They were very fortunate to have escaped injury or worse. You can see the photos showing the
bridge before the collapse and how it now appears.
