SHORT WALK FOREST WALK EASY 15 minute circuit - - This short stroll over boardwalks and benched track, through a cool temperate rainforest; features soft tree ferns, ancient myrtle beech and tall eucalypts. Take a close look at the soil either side of the boardwalk near the small creek. The small towers of mud are a sign that burrowing crayfish live there. LONGER WALK • MILKSHAKES LOOKOUT MODERATE 1 hour return This walk takes you through the forest, across a buttongrass plain and up to the top of one of the three local hills. Along the way, look outefor signs of wombats, such as cube-shaped scats left on rocks, and keep your eyes peeled for wedge-tailed eagles soaring overhead.
