Hut built by the Paton family in the 1950s, built on 4 gallon (20 litre) drum concrete stumps, walls were clad in corrugated aluminium (obviously excess from WW2?) An older gentleman lived in
the hut in the late 60's early 70's and travelled for supplies to Corryong &
Khancoban on a horse & cart. The pastural leases were revoked in the mid to late 60's by the National parks, the same for the most of the other high country pastural leases such as Toolong,
Geehi Flats, Happy Jacks etc.
