Located on the Wimmera Highway, this rural town and surrounding district, offers visitors a warm welcome and unique experiences. Edenhope is located on the southern shore of
Lake Wallace, which covers an area of 200 hectares. Popular with locals and visitors, the lake has many amenities. It is stocked with redfin and trout and has several jetties and boat ramps. There are bird hides and a scenic, 5km walking track surrounding the lake. The area has over 120 bird species including the rare Red-tailed Black Cockatoo. The ‘Icons of Edenhope’ bird murals in the main street showcase the diverse bird life in vivid colour.
