Junction Track - NSW

No vehicles or motorbikes. Horses, bikes, and walkers permitted. Closed gate.Junction walk Grade: 4 medium (with some steep sections) Distance and time: 7km loop, 3 hours return Beginning here, this marked walking track offers a scenic walk through ironbarks and pine trees to the meeting of the Severn and Macintyre Rivers. An optional 1 km side track takes you to the Dungeon (add 45 minutes return). This is a spectacular river gorge that becomes a churning mass of water after rain. You can see the Dungeon from a rocky outcrop above the river. There are opportunities for swimming, picnicking and birdwatching.
