Burke and Wills camped here on12/9/1860. The exact location has not been established and there is no signage to recognize the
camp site. In the book "Following Burke and Wills" the author has drawn conclusion of the site by drawings done by Ludwig Becker who was part of the expedition team and did many drawings and paintings of the country the expedition passed through.
