Junction Creek
camping area.
The summit of Bartle Frere is 750m from this
camping area via the western approach. Camping permits are required for camping in
Wooroonooran National Park and along the Bartle Frere trail and fees apply. There are 4 designated camping areas along the Bartle Frere trail. There is no camping available outside of the 4 designated camping areas. The Bartle Frere trail camping areas each have a maximum of 8 people per night per
camping area with a maximum group size of 4 people.
