Situated within the
Mole Creek Karst National Park, this hiking track offers an easy walk to reach a large cascading waterfall. The track winds through unspoiled rainforest and you’ll pass by a series of smaller
cascades and a
bridge walk over a creek. At the falls look closely at the rocks and you’ll see evidence of this once being a seabed with fossilled shells and sea-plants.The track is only 1.8km from the
carpark to the falls and can be reached in 25 minutes. The trail has gentle
hill sections and some steps as you approach the falls. There are a few rough and muddy sections to navigate. The access road is 2km from the nearby Honeycomb Caves area where there is free
bush camping,
toilet, and a day use area. The access road is steep and gravel with some washouts and ruts. National Parks Pass required. Available on-line or from Great Western Tiers
Visitor Centre.
