Mt Ive is a pastoral sheep station, first taken up by Price Maurice in 1864, is the only property within the
Gawler Ranges with visitor facilities. Access to
Lake Gairdner via organ pipe
rock formations and an historic
dam.
The station stay offers a range of different accommodation options for those that don't have their own camping equipment or caravan. For campers the options include both powered and unpowered sites at the
homestead catering to caravans, campers, swags and tents.
Camp gazebo equipped with BBQ, microwave, kettle & toaster. Fire pits available during the appropriate season. (BYO wood or collect your own from our property). Lots of shady trees are around and plenty of space to stretch out.
There are also a number of Bush Camps for those who wish to stay out a bit further.
The
homestead offers a kitchen, rec room, basic kiosk and bar plus fuel (diesel and premium unleaded fuel) with a store offering soft drinks, ice, chips, ice creams and some other small non-perishable items. Our bar is stocked with cold beer, spirits and wine. EFTPOS is available and accepts VISA and Mastercard.
