camp 3 was made nearby, on this property. At the time, Bolina Vale Station was owned by William
John Turner Clarke who had leased part of th epperty to Captain Robert Gardiner. Gardiner had offered assistance to the expedition party who were suffering in the extreme wet, cold and windy winter conditions.
