This is the point in the track where the conditions deteriorate and 4WD is recommended - track onwards is ok for towing camper trailers but slow going for longer vans and not recommended. There is a creek bed just past here and the track onwards has many deep pot holes. This marker is where you can find some room if you'd like to park and walk the final section to the flooded
mine site - or even unhitch if towing and drive onwards (4WD). Most people with vans will leave the caravan in town to make this trip out to the
mine site more enjoyable.
