North Johnstone
Lookout is located in the
Wooroonooran National Park (Palmerston Doongan). To access this
lookout, park at the
Crawfords Lookout carpark then follow the Grade 4 walking trail. This is a steep, winding track that drops 500m in 1.5km and leads to the
lookout—an open grassy area that overlooks the North Johnstone River and Douglas Creek. Follow the track down a further 500m to reach the river. Return along the same track. 4km return allow 1.5hr walking time.
