Wreck of DC3 which was on a flight out of
Perth in February 1942. A landing at
Broome was scheduled but it flew past and then ran out of fuel, making a forced landing where it remains today on a beach near Cape Londonderry in Vansittart Bay. All crew and passengers survived. In a beautiful part of the
Kimberley it attracts many visitors from cruise ships.
