Conn Waterhole Camp - QLD

Conn Waterhole (or Conn Hole) is fed by the Wokingham Creek and is the first permanent waterhole in the Diamantina system. Suitable for swimming and fresh water fishing with golden perch and silver tandan the most likely catches when full, although drought is common in the area so conditions vary throughout the seasons. It is located roughly 60km west of Winton.Camping is permitted on the river bank. Free, no facilities. A creek bed with sharp dip along the entry track will stop long wheel base vehicles. 4wd recommended. Avoid when wet. No service.
