Mount Cooroora is a 438m volcanic plug. This dramatic mountain is located in
Pomona, off the Bruce Highway about 10km north of the township of Cooroy.
Each year in July mountain runners from all over the world come to
Pomona for the famous 'King of the Mountain Race', to run right up the face of this 438m high volcanic mountain.
