Cudgewa Bluff Falls - VIC

Cudgewa Bluff Falls are located 18kilometres from both Cudgewa and Tintaldra, in the Burrowa Pine Mountain National Park.

This spectacular set of waterfalls provides visitors with an opportunity to see water cascade off the park plateau, over the Cudgewa Bluff and into a tranquil grotto below.

You can reach the Cudgewa Bluff falls via the Buff Falls road, off the Cudgewa North Valley road which links Walwa and the Cudgewa Valley to the National Park. Please note that the last approximately 21kilometres of the road leading to the falls is unsealed. The area offers two camping areas that offer picnic facilities, as well as toilets. To check if the falls are flowing, visit the Corryong Visitor Information Centre.

There is a picnic area which is located at the start of the Bluff Creek Nature trail and from here it is a 45minute walk through serene bushland to reach the base of the falls. The walk does have information boards along the way and there are some steeper sections as you approach the falls, so care needs to be taken. If you would prefer not to walk so far, there is the option of driving to the upper car park area of the falls which is 2.5km past the Bluff Creek area, past the Blue Gums camping area and you will cross a creek before reaching the small car park, located approximately 200metres from the falls. Please note that this area is not suitable for caravans or large motorhomes.
