We are located in the historical village of
Millthorpe and are a volunteer managed and run museum. We operate a large complex with eight large buildings (including our new pavilion!) housing many and varied collections from Aboriginal items, fraternal societies, local family and business history, Australian inventions, rural technology, machinery and much more.
Open 11am - 3pm Weekends, School & Public Holidays. Other days/times by appointment.

Spring Grove Pavillion holds a large collection of tractors and the Clayton and Shuttleworth traction engine.
The Trevor Pascoe Pavillion houses a collection of Australian Inventions along with a large panel wall outlining other Australian inventions throughout our history from Victar Lawnmowers to Sunshine Headers and all things in between.
The Ronaldson Tippett Engine Room houses the 16HP engine which was donated by the Grain Elevators Board. The engine was used in the Noonbinna wheat silo.
The Museum of Rural Technology building currently houses an enormous collection of Pea, Grain, Potatoes, Orcharding,
Hay, Wool, Stationery Engines and Mining equipment.
