Dalrymple Gap Walking Track - QLD

Enjoy this 18.0-km out-and-back trail near Damper Creek, Queensland. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 5 h 15 min to complete. This trail is great for hiking.A nice hike through wilderness rainforest with fun rock hopping creek crossings and historical evidence. This trail used to be the only inland pass for many kilometers in either direction and was used by bullock teams, lumberjacks and couriers. Of special note is the beautiful bridge near the coastal end and remaining evidence of rocks spread along track to provide traction for bullock teams up and down slopes. Can be quite muddy and creek crossings will require balance or shoes off.
