Falls facts:
Height - 90 m one of the tallest waterfalls in Tasmania.
Volume of water 42,000 L of water per minute on average. In winter the volume can exceed 200,000 L per minute. The falls have never been known to run dry.
Catchment area 4200 ha of mountainous thickly forested country, including the north, eastern sides of Mount Albert and
Mount Victoria.
Flows into the sea at Saint Helens in
Georges Bay.
