Dangars Falls is located in the Dangars
Gorge precinct of
Oxley Wild Rivers National Park located south of Armidale NSW. There is no day use permit required to visit this section of the park.Dangars Falls is a spectacular waterfall, especially after recent rainfall. It is a volcanic crater with a deep tube that plunges to unseeable depths and creates a large
swimming hole. At the top of the falls is another warmer
swimming hole, which is accessible from the right of the Dangars Falls
Picnic Area. Picnic facilities here a good and it is also a very good place for children as it has a playground and good
toilet facilities. There is also a very
good campground (see separate listing for details and booking link).*note not be confused with the falls near Dorigo of similar name (no s).
