Yarralin is also known as the Walangeri community. The town is situated on the banks of the
Wickham River close to the
Victoria River. It is 380km southwest of
Katherine.
Yarralin is an Aboriginal community that has a ZERO alcohol policy.
There is a small
general store at Lot 33 and fuel is available at Lot 52. Main supply from either
Victoria River Downs Station or
Timber Creek.
There is some great Barra fishing to be had in the river.
