Located on the edge of the river at corner of Blair & Byrne Streets you'll see a statue/art display of a fish (cod) - however from that point look out into the
water at the tree stump - the burl growing from the side of the tree is shaped like a Bullocks head, hence the name of this site. Local fable says that when the river is high enough that the Bullock's head is "drinking" then the town will flood. New
