Sue City was a construction
camp for the Snowy Mtns Scheme. It was operating from May 1958 until 1962 when
Tumut 2 power Station was completed. The O'Hares
campsite is on the flat on the west bank. Only a few foundations remain at the northern end. The city was on the east bank and is now mostly submerged. It is
