Grenfell, birthplace of Henry Lawson, haunt of bushranger Ben Hall and homw to some of the finest
heritage architecture in Australia. Nestled in a valley at the foot of the Weddin Mountains, Grenfell is a town steeped in history and the pioneering spirit of our colonial forefathers.
In 2012 Grefenll became a RV friendly town. It offers short term caravan and recreational vehicle
parking, it has a tidy caravan park and a wate water
dump point.
The
dump point is near the Railway Station and fresh water is available from the caravan park. Overnight
parking is available at the Grenfell Caravan Park and CMCA members can book in at a reduced rate (apon showing proof of current membreship).
Free camping is available in the
Weddin Mountains National Park
