Murrum Valley (abandoned) was the property of the Coates Family. The
homestead was built around 1905 with the interior pressed metal cladding and exterior bird iron being transported to the site by river steamer.
Later modern buildings were added for family members in the mid 1990's
The property was destocked and acquired by National Parks around 2014.
