It may come as a surprise to readers to hear of a QANTAS crash site .
In 1927 fledging airline QANTAS purchased a plane in England ....for reasons never discovered the plane crashed near Tambo.
However, as the plane had not yet been registered as a QANTAS airliner it was not officially recorded as a Qantas plane .
