Excellent spot with large
toilet block, many huts and BBQs. There is even a sandy beach and water way. Lovely grass and plenty of
parking.
This spot is accessed from a side road adjacent to the
toilet block on the main road just before crossing the
dam wall (northern side of
dam). Road is marked "Picnic Area". The road leads down
hill to the pipe head located on the lower
dam which has been established as a beautiful picnic site featuring lush green grass year round, a white sandy beach, picnic huts, public bbqs and another
public toilet block. Plenty of
parking. A modern boardwalk allows visitors to take a walk out over the water. A fantastic picnic spot.
