Large, scenic and very pleasant
campground with choice of shade or open sunny sites, bordering
Paddys River Dam in the Bago
State Forest. Very pretty alpine
camp at about 1300 metres. There are two sections. The larger is grassed, has
toilets and no other facilities. The smaller on the lake shore is ungrassed but has
toilets, a
picnic shelter, fireplaces and table.
In summer months a forest fire ban applies.
Access via
Back Creek Road, off
Batlow Road, or for a more adventurous drive (4WD only) take the Transmission Track from Talbingo and work your way through forest tracks and roads.
