Hermie Strausses Garden - site of a market garden early in the history of settlement of the area (late 1800's). The track in is less used than main tracks and is not maintained. Overgrown in some areas but easily followed.
The gartden area is a cleared bowl of land surrounded by dunes on three sides. A
dam and catchment was scraped out very early and is still quite prominent. Very little history on Hermie Strauss and his garden to be found.
