Sheer 200 metre high cliffs form a
gorge along this section of Jim Jim creek. Water thunders over in a wet season waterfall, but in the dry season it reduces to less than a trickle. An arduous clamber over and between car sized boulders for 900 metres from the 4WD only
carpark brings you to the plunge
pool. Signs warn of salt water crocodiles. Closed during Wet season and the road is often not open until June. See park website for details.
