The round holes in
the rock in the Tuross R. Are the healing pools used by the Brinja Aboriginal people. They would heat up rocks place them in the holes with water and add the strewed leaves of 3 plants from the area place the Elders in the holes the remove the ache and pains from the body after the bongog moth feasting and pussum catching before going to main
camp at Bingi Bingi.
There are over 350 sacred and special sites in the area from
Bendethera to Mt Kydra and the Tuross and Shoalhaven Rivers.
