River Cooba.
The Ngak Indau walking trail was part of a larger Ngak Indau wetland project, established through a partnership involving local high school students, DEWNR and the Murray Darling Basin Commission.
The dedicated local Friends of Parks group have recently begun upgrades on the trail, including a new bird hide, which will allow visitors to get even closer to the numerous birds that use the wetland when flooded.
This walk begins on the banks of the River Murray and winds its way through the Ngak Indau wetlands. Points of interest are marked along the way, informing you about the local plants and animals.
Check out the bird hide where you can spy on the diverse wetland bird life.
