Built around the relocated Primary Industries pavilion from
Brisbane's World Expo in 1988, this tourist location is a museum,
information centre, coffee shop/cafe and a caravan and camping ground for stays of up to 48 hours. It also has a
dump point.
A pass card is required to gain admittance to the low cost
camping area with a choice of powered or unpowered and access to water. Advance bookings can be made by calling the
Heritage Park Office.
Check in from 10.30am to 4pm when the office closes. No after hours
check-in is available.
Pets are permitted but must be kept on a leash in public areas. The
camping area is formally laid out on grass with power to the site and access to
drinking water. The amenities are of the mining
camp en suite type with hot showers.
Very pleasant management complimented the facilities and coffee is served at the cafe.
The main "silo" building contains a vast array of memorabilia which is supplemented by a collection of
well restored vintage motor vehicles and their horse drawn predecessors. This display is supplemented by a significant collection of old
farm machinery and commercial motor vehicles and buses.
