Bush camping nearly 1 kilometre from the banks of the Eucumbene River. If the water level is over 55% then Lake Eucumbene will almost reach this far upstream as seen in above photo. At 60 % the water is 2.3m deeper and will reach the
old bridge piers. This last occured in 2005 and again in 2022. No car nor boat access from 2018 as large rocks have been placed across the tracks. Walk-in only for the fly fishermen. Peaceful, roomy and relaxing.Nearby to the east of the
campsite is Gang Gang Creek and its gauging station. To the northwest is Alpine Ck with an old steam engine and a delightful walk to the Eucumbene River where one may spot a platypus.Booking required - $6
