Site of old Nackara siding - SA

An open area near the ruins of stone buildings. No facilities. Suitable for an overnight freecamp in a motorhome or caravan. Quiet, about 2 Km from Barrier highway, no shelter. Not far from Mizpah Retreat which is probably in an old farm. Wonderful views of the nearby hills. The rail line used to pass through this area but was relocated to the south of the highway. Stony ground, not good for tents.
Access from Barrier Highway, signposted Nackara, and also Mizpah Retreat. A good quiet overnight resting spot to avoid night driving if travelling between Broken Hill and Adelaide late afternoon. Access is via a good gravel road.
