Information

Superb Aboriginal rock-art site. Easy 4wd access once you have the permit. Apply online or go to Newman Visitors Centre then drive north along the BHP railway service line until you reach the 365 peg and turn left the sign to Punda. This track is very tightly crowded with spinifex in places and corrugated but continue straight ahead for 14km to a crossroads. Continue straight ahead here for another few kms to a dead end, clearing and immediately in front of you you'll see a rocky mountain with boulders - the rock art is engraved into literally hundreds of these boulders. No camping. No trailers. 4WD only. Leave no trace.
